Practice your short game more than you think you should

Saturday, 14 January 2017 saw the start of the new 1st to 18 year at Royal Durban Golf Club. Twelve youngsters arrived fresh from their school holidays ready for golf and as usual we started on the putting green. To ignite their competitive spirit we split them into pairs to play putting tennis which they thoroughly enjoyed and each hole in one was met with a loud whoop of delight and high fives from Neil, Alvin and I. It was a tight contest in the first group with Luke winning by one over Torvie and in the second group Yaya edged out Araav to claim bragging rights.
