First Term 2024 First Lesson 20 January Putting

So the 2024 1st218 golfing year got off to a good start on 20 January on a beautiful summer morning. We had seven youngsters in the first class, four girls and three boys and as always we started on the putting green. Neil and I laid out some holes and with the help of some putting aids we helped the youngsters with their putting and it was very rewarding to see how well they putted. As usual the we finished the lessons with a putting competition and it was Yusuf who came away with the honors in the first class. In the second class we had two youngsters, Jaiden and Hudson, and we made the competition round more challenging. The competition round came down to a three hole play off but neither youngster sank the putt so we decided to have a carry over to next Saturday and double the prize.
