This Saturday we did things a bit differently, the youngsters chipped and then had to putt from where their chip finished. The rationale here is two fold, to get as close to the hole as possible with your chip and to feel the difference between chipping and putting. There were some great chips with Tallin getting a hole in one in the first group and brother and sister Tuffa and Ayanda getting holes in one in the second group. The area the youngsters had to chip to was relatively small which also encouraged them to think about how hard they had to hit the ball and where to land it, an exercise which also helps with feel
